Great dog walking area. Unfortunately the cafe isn't dog friendly, so being just me and my dog we can't get anything to eat or drink. I had planned lunch here.

Attended as a helper on my child's school trip. We made handmade bread on the fire, looked at some materials and garments from the stone age era, ground wheat to make flour using mallets and stone and finished with den building. The team were friendly and professional and engaging foe the kids

Lovely walks but if you’re going specifically to visit the farm , don’t bother . Completely run down and only animals we saw were a couple of donkeys and some horses . Website needs to be updated as we have one very disappointed 3 yr old

The “play area” is very minimalistic and I wouldn’t use farm as a word to describe the place either. It seems as if the council have ruined this hidden gem by removing all the animals other than 2 donkeys and 2 sheep. Scenery was lovely walking around the place however if a trip to the farm with the little ones is on your list then I’d suggest spending your time elsewhere. Unsure if the council have ever heard of lawn mowers before however if they do run into one then this may be somewhere I’d recommend for their first stop 👍

This was a lovely place to walk. The park is big and there are some stunning views across the park. You could even spot horses at certain points during the walk. There are also a few ponds with a variety of bird species in. It was a lovely afternoon out to go for a nice, relaxing walk. The cafe is also decent, with a good outdoor seating area. I can't comment on the food there as I only got a cold drink, but it looked quite nice.
